Roofing Contractor Serving Lake, Sumter & Orange Counties

Grand Island sits on the strip of land between Lake Yale and Lake Eustis, up CR 452 from our shop, so it is about as close as work gets. Most homes are 1950s-1970s concrete block with low-slope hip roofs and shallow eaves, and the failure we find most is rotted fascia and soffit behind a gutter that stopped draining, not the roof itself. Lakefront homes on Lake Yale also take open-water wind that works fasteners loose along the windward edge.

Bassville Park runs along US 441 between Leesburg and Tavares, close to Lake Eustis and Lake Harris. Its houses are older than the county average: mid-century block homes and manufactured homes, many already on a second roof that went on before today's deck-attachment rules, so a replacement here is often a bigger job than the owner expects. Roof age is also what triggers the 4-point requests and non-renewal letters we see here.

Altoona is at SR 19 and CR 42 on the western edge of the Ocala National Forest. Homes are frame, block and manufactured houses on wooded lots, and the trees drive the roof work: pine and oak litter packs the valleys and keeps shingles damp, which grows algae on north slopes, and limb strikes through the decking are routine. A lot of roofers decline to drive out here; we quote it.

Lake Jem is a farming community on the north shore of Lake Apopka, along CR 448 between Astatula and Mount Dora. Nearly every property has a barn, workshop or pole shed as well as the house, many with older exposed-fastener metal roofs whose screws back out as the panels heat and cool; we can quote every building on one estimate. With open water and marsh to the south, there is little to break the wind.

A quiet community along the St. Johns River in northeastern Lake County. River cottages, fish camps, elevated homes and manufactured homes, with a lot of seasonal owners. River humidity grows algae and moss under the forest canopy, and in a part-time home a small leak can run for months before anyone notices, so we check the decking, not just the shingles. We batch Astor visits so you are not waiting a month for an estimate.
